What is the Search Inside Yourself programme?

Originally developed at Google, Search Inside Yourself (SIY) takes an evidence-based approach that combines neuroscience, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. Through these disciplines, it helps participants to integrate key building blocks that can be applied at work and in life.

Claire Boulby - Certified Emotional Intelligence and Mindfulness Teacher

Certified in Mindfulness and Emotional well-being, I am a Search Inside Yourself Teacher and Neurodiversity-Informed Mindfulness Practitioner, blending evidence-based approaches with holistic wellness strategies. My qualifications in Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Mindfulness underscore my commitment to creating inclusive, supportive spaces for personal and professional growth. Currently studying to become a mindfulness mentor, I combine lived experience with a passion for helping others build resilience, navigate change, and develop meaningful connections.

With over two decades of experience in a $34 billion global organisation, specialising in supply chain management (and Emotional Intelligence (EI) training, and well-being leadership during the latter years), I bring the lived experience of navigating the highs and lows of the oil and gas market while balancing the demands of a career and family life.

Based in Leeds, UK, my career includes serving as a Global Category Manager, where I negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts and managed an annual spend of over $30 million. While excelling professionally, I experienced burnout while juggling parenting and a demanding career. This pivotal moment led me to mindfulness, a life-changing practice that helped me to find balance and inspired me to empower others. Drawing from corporate experience, I transitioned into delivering EI and mindfulness programs, empowering more than 500 individuals globally over the past two years. The programs that I deliver enhance communication, offer tools and methods to manage stress, and cultivate environments of psychological safety, particularly in high-pressure, data-driven environments.

With a strong background in stakeholder management, change leadership, and continuous improvement, I believe that I have a unique combination of technical expertise and emotional intelligence that drives impactful results.

As the founder of The Powerful Pause, I collaborate with HR professionals and organisations to deliver tailored EI and mindfulness programs. My work aligns well-being strategies with business objectives, empowering individuals and teams to thrive in today’s fast-paced, dynamic environment.
